Challenge

Driven by a commitment to enhance client experiences and streamline operational efficiency, PCI, an information technology company, embarked on a journey to revamp their systems. Their vision encompassed not only the seamless onboarding of prospective clients but also the creation of an intuitive admin dashboard for effective client and service ticket management.

With a focus on automating processes and delivering tailored, on-demand solutions to support clients' ambitious growth trajectories, PCI aimed to revolutionize their client journey. By investing in platform system development, PCI anticipated numerous benefits spanning from intake to initial deployment, leading to improved delivery timelines, enhanced service quality, and a significant reduction in manual workload.

Moreover, PCI foresaw substantial cost-saving opportunities within its traditional services while strategically positioning themselves to amplify sales volume through the automated and administrative platform.

Solution

A comprehensive analysis of PCI's existing business processes commenced, documenting each aspect to pinpoint areas ripe for automation. Pivotal opportunities were identified to optimize operations and devised a future-state process map leveraging a new platform system. Prioritization of component development was undertaken, considering dependencies, value propositions, and anticipated business impact.

Leveraging Adobe XD, a prototype was crafted showcasing the envisioned solution, complete with interactive features such as clickthrough functionality and hover effects, providing stakeholders with a tangible preview of the automated onboarding process and admin portal.

Key deliverables:

  • A automated questionnaire tailored to guide new clients in selecting the most suitable IT plan from a spectrum of subscription options.
  • An automated onboarding system allowing new clients to seamlessly initiate their accounts and navigate their personalized client portal.
  • An admin dashboard prototype crafted for PCI's personnel. This dashboard features a comprehensive overview screen, a ticket management system, and a client management interface.
